- So many have talked about how a disproportionate number of the homeless are mentally ill. Everyone from Reagan to Bush has been blamed. We collectively have a very short memory.

- Best comment yet. I see the same cycle every January at my gym, with one small exception. The overweight young are the very first to quit, usually within a week to 10 days, then teens in general, then the overweight crowd are all gone by the end of February.

- OK, so hanging of an empty chair is in bad taste and the Secret Service is investigating, I must admit I think it's kind of immature, but how it is any more offensive than the "freedom of speech" when democratic supporters burned the American flag. Seems about equal to me.

- my son was bullied at school so we made an appointment with the principal. turns out it was the principals son that was doing all the hazing, so guess what was done about it? not a damn thing.
